Well, I set up the page to blog, so I guess I'm ready to go. I guess I'm ready to introduce myself. My name is Samuel Marquieth Johnson. I'm 37 years old, and I live in Savannah, Ga. Perhaps you've heard of my town. It's always in the polls as one of the best cities to retire. It's a nice place to live, if you don't have to deal with tourist all the time. We have a lot of diversity in this town, but it's still the Old South to some. Me, I just take things day to day, moving in and out of the crowds to find a nice quiet spot. It ain't easy.

On the plus side, I was given the power to shmooze from my father, who was cantankerous. I can ease my way into things at the drop of a hat with just a word. It's a good thing, but, it's also a curse at times. My father was known for taking advantage of everything, and ruining it. More on him at a later date.

On the minus side, there are times I just want to be left alone ,sit back and relax with a cold slushy and watch the crowd, Believe me, observation is avery fun thing to do. It teaches you how not to screw up.

Anyway, I don't know if my life will be any different from what any other bloger puts online. I don't really follow politics much. I'm sort of a pop culture geek who keeps his eyes out on fads, trends, etc. I do have some interesting friends and wild stories to post online ( at least, the ones that are clean enough). If I have at least one hook to this whole blog thing for you to want to keep up with me is that fact that I'm on dialysis. To me, it's just another day, but others worry, so I try to keep them updated.

So, that's me in a nutshell. I do have allot to say, and I'll be here to say it, now that I have a forum. Please come back from time to time and let me know what you think after you've read a few lines of my life, views, and whatever else spews.

You can email me at Blaxstone1@yahoo.com. Just cut and paste into your mail. I'll promise to read and do my best to respond.

By the way, this post is dedicated to the memory of Kate Hepburn. I if I could live as long as she did and still be as feisty, then I've lived a great life.
