Things have been fine, so far...

I hope that most of you are ok with me posting at this point. I just don't have the time or the energy to do this like I'd want. There are so many things to talk about that want to share with you, but I honestly feel like a jerk when I come here. I promised that I would post as much as I can, but either I'm working or just plain beat down.

Things here at the Delta House are fine. There were some bumps in the road early, but they have been smoothed out, I believe. Joey, Matt and Bill have been ok. They're never home, which means I get the place to myself at night for the most part, which means peace and quiet for me.

On the work front, I'm actually saving money now, which is good. I'm even planning on going on a vacation soon, which is much needed. I still can't stand Wet Willie's much and I love The Comic Box. It's the third job that kills me.

Dialysis is still a pain in the arm for me, but I continue to go if I want to live. I'm coming closer to having a fund set up for me, where folks can contribute funds towards my transplant. As soon as I have details, I promise to post it soon. I did, however, found out that I lost one of the only friends there today. Ms. Jeannette Young Loadholt was 64 when she passed on Monday. She was a lovely woman with a sense of humor, quick with a laugh and had a smile on her face when ever I saw her. She was also the only person who actually talked to me that wasn't a nurse. She made me feel better about going to the clinic three days a week and that you have to smile no matter what. So, for that, I have to say "Thank You", Ms. Loadholt. You were a wonderful person. I wish I had met you sooner.

Ok, I'm tired now. I'll keep in touch. Promise.

Calm before the storm

I have to get into the practice of getting up in the morning and working on this blog. I have been planning to work on this more since I've moved, but I haven't had any energy to do anything. I am a lot more relaxed since the move, I can say that. It's the best I've felt in long time. Freedom. More freedom than I've felt before or since my divorce. It actually feels good to live somewhere where you feel good about your surroundings. A comfort spot. Now if I can only get my room fixed the way I want. I need to get a dresser drawer and a computer desk. Right now, I'm typing this on a old poker table. How it's able to stand with a 17 inch monitor on it is amazing.

Guess Who's Back...

Back again. Sam is Back. Tell A Friend. Guess Who's Back, Guess Who's Back, Guess Who's Back, Guess Who's Back, Guess Who's Back, Guess Who's Back, Guess Who's Back.

I think you get the point. I got things moved in and still haven't gotten things the way I'd like. But, I do have the broadbrand up and able to work again. Man, Have I got stories so far to tell you. But, let me say that I am the most relaxed I have been in a LOOOONG time. I can just sit back and not let crap get to me the way things have before. Now if I can just meet a good woman and get a slushie machine, it would be perfect. I have to get ready for the clinic, but I'l be back later to tell you about the roommates. I told you I'd be back.
